Maurizio Morana
Holding a marketing degree, he started his career in the sport industry in 1999 as Europe regional manager of Sunny Side Up Inc., a Japanese management company. While based in Italy he was responsible for football players’ management, marketing, PR and communications.
In 2003 he took the FIFA Agent license and worked at SSU until 2009, when he joined global sports agency ‘MP & Silva’. As managing director of players management division, he was responsible for planning development, financial analysis, marketing and consultancy.
Currently, he runs his own agency in Milan and in Japan, managing the career of players, negotiating transfers and offering consulting services for clubs and federations.
He is a lecturer at SDA Bocconi School of Management and la Sapienza University of Rome teaching football sports management (players’ management, marketing strategies, agent business and sport humanities). He is known for the agent who worked between Europe and the Far East handling several important players as Hidetoshi Nakata, Takayuki Morimoto, Park Chu-young, Yuya Kubo.
